Exploring the Christian Faith

At St Michaels you’ll find a whole host of people at different stages of the Christian faith, from sceptical enquirers to those who have devoted decades to following in the steps of Jesus, and everyone in between.

We encourage everyone to ask questions and explore the Bible with us, to learn more about Jesus, His life, death and resurrection, and the invitation he offers to each of us.

If you have questions about the Christian faith then we warmly invite you to sign up for one of the following courses, which we run regularly.

Pilgrim’s Adventure

Thursdays 10am - 12noon
St Michael’s Church House

Based on a modern version of John Bunyan’s ‘Pilgrim’s Progress’, we meet weekly for storytelling, talks and conversation, reflecting on the ups and downs of life and looking forward to the hope of heaven.

Please check weekly notice sheets for more details and for dates. No booking necessary.

Wednesdays 7.30 - 9.00pm
(Hosted in a Church member’s home)

Life Explored is an informal and relaxed seven-week course, using videos and stories to start conversations about life.

Whoever you are, whatever you are thinking, Life Explored is a place for you to discover the greatest gift in the universe.

Life Explored

Discipleship Explored

Mondays 7.30 - 9pm

What does it mean to live as a Christian in today’s world? This is the question at the heart of Discipleship Explored, an informal and relaxed 8 session course centred around the book of Philippians.

Please contact us if you would like to join our next group.

“God’s salvation does not come in response to a changed life. A changed life comes in response to salvation, offered as a free gift.”
